Hello!

We are fully aware of the problems that occurred with the initial release of M.O.B.

Unfortunately, the incorrect version went up on Steam. The Alpha version was released initially, this has been corrected. Please log in/log out of Steam to receive the correct version of M.O.B.

We will be patching this game periodically to correct any issues that arise, as well as new and exciting features and multiplayer modes!

We apologize for any inconvenience, and appreciate any input that you have.

Ouch, I can't think of a worse thing to happen on your first game release. Glad to hear you guys are working on patching it up, there's a fun game to be had under those bugs.

The missing HUD is the biggest and most urgent issue atm. Fix that and its atleast possible to have some multiplayer fun! :)

Is the current version on steam, which is missing the hud + when you open the console shows about 1 million errors, the gold standard release version? OR is there another version coming up on steam soon?

How do you open the console? When I press the tilde key (which is usually the one to bring up console) the mouse arrow just shows on my screen and takes mouse input instead of controlling the camera...

I'm hoping the current release is still somehow the alpha. There's no way a build that doesn't even show the HUD and has a console riddled with errors can be considered release worthy is there?

Probably something to do with the version mixup. Will most likely be an update very soon as it's pretty game breaking bugs...

Update, but some big problem happen.

1. No HUD
2. When an enemy explodes, sometimes enormous meat pieces appear...

There really is no excuse for releasing a game with so many obvious bugs. I am a software engineer and I would never do anything like this. It is better to wait until you have something that works than release a half-assed product and ruin your reputation. How is it possible to test a game and not notice that the HUD is missing? And how is it possible to approve such a broken version for release?

And, "Sometimes not save graphics setting"

more like never saving graphic settings and whenever you try and set a different setting it just changes all the settings to something different, including just plainly turning vsync on changes everything....

The last boss gets stuck in the dock, with only his head above the dock. He moves around in circles, and he can be hard to hit because he moves around quickly. I did get past it, and finish the game. Pretty fun, but very buggy.

Upon watching the videos and viewing the info on steam store, I was very excited for this game. However, I do not want to play this game at all now due to the major issues that have arisen. First lets me start by saying that I have restarted steam to get the newest version of MOB, I use a widescreen lcd (1440x900), and vista ultimate x64. Heres a list of bugs I've noticed so far in this version:
1.) during intro cinematics I get a blank white screen when looking from the pov the the security cam, and a blank black screen right when I get my arm chainsawed off.
2.) I can't run the game in 1440x900, or any other resolution for that matter, b/c the cursor does not click where it is actually pointing, but clicks somewhere 1 inch above and to the left. (even in the menu) I had to use advanced steam startup properties and set MOB to -autoconfig -fullscreen to get the game to even play. This sets the resolution to 1376x760 and leaves a blank border on the left and bottom, but I can actually click.
3.)The first time I tried the game it just crashed after I climbed out of the ring. The second time, my gun just floated there and i couldn't shoot, all the ai's guns were also just floating around, but the ai themselves where running/rolling around but not attacking...

I haven't even tried the game a third time b/c I'm pretty fucking fed up with this crap. I realize the game was only $15, and its only just released, so I'm just going to wait a week or two to see if you guys get your shit together. please just fix the resolution issue asap please!

Hi emp,

We just released a patch moments ago that should fix your resolution issues. As for the other issues, please post the game log, which can be found in:

[Steam install directory]\steamapps\common\merchants of brooklyn\Game.log.

Looking at that may help resolve some of the problems you're experiencing.

Explosion bug? I don't use flame weapons, but flame come out when they explode. :roll:
